Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an EKG Technician with standard 3-channel 12-lead EKGs, Holter tests, and treadmill tests.
• Experience with Dual Isotope nuclear stress tests and tilt-table testing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic electrocardiograms (EKGs) and record heart activity.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; ensure comfort and accurate readings.
• Operate EKG equipment with technical proficiency and meticulous data collection.
• Adhere to conduct standards and verify patient identity across age groups from neonates to geriatrics.
