Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Night Shift Cardiovascular Technician to perform cardiology procedures, routine ECGs, and ambulatory monitoring. The role requires attention to detail and accuracy in recording electrical activity for physician review.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience of at least one year preferred.
• Requires ability to perform all basic electrocardiographic procedures in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Completes cardiology procedures paying particular attention to all details insuring a quality study.
• Demonstrates proper technique for performing routine ECGs.
• Acquires Signal Average ECGs according to physician's specifications.
• Applies 24 hour holter monitor utilizing test strip to ensure proper recording.
• Operates holter scanning equipment, scans are thoroughly analyzed, significant data recognized and representative strips documented.
• Demonstrates ability to apply event recorders.
