A leading health care system is seeking a part-time EKG Technician to perform electrocardiographic measurements and provide care across all patient age groups. The ideal candidate will have completed relevant training, possess BCLS certification, and demonstrate strong communication skills and manual dexterity. This role involves working in both ambulatory and inpatient care settings, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.
EKG Technician, Part Time,6:30am-3pm
JOB SUMMARY: Under administrative direction, performs electrocardiographic measurements of the electrical activity of the heart. Provides care to patients of all stages of life from neonate to the geriatric population. Performs job tasks in the ambulatory care as well as the inpatient acute care setting.

Education & Training: Completion of electrocardiographic and arrhythmia course. BCLS certification required.
Work Orientation & Experience: One (1) year experience in the field of electrocardiography preferred.
Skills & Abilities: Visual acuity and manual dexterity are required. Ability to: a) convey effective verbal and written information; b) respond to emergency situations appropriately; c) organize and manage time effectively setting appropriate priorities; d) make independent decisions consistent with current policies and procedures; e) relate positively with and reassure patients while effectively projecting a positive image of the organization in support of the Service Excellence expectations; f) maintain discretion with patients; g) adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the care setting; h) effectively function as a member of a collaborative team.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $18.67/hr- $26.00/hr
