Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare is seeking an Electrocardiography Technician to support the Cardiovascular Labs on the 3PM-11:30PM shift, with some weekends. Responsibilities include performing all electrocardiograms, handling scheduling and reports, and maintaining equipment, with training for Pyramis and Vision Premier.

Responsibilities

• Completes all types of electrocardiograms in hospital areas.
• Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed.
• Performs clerical tasks for Cardiovascular Labs (scheduling, processing reports, logging information).
• Maintains equipment and keeps systems updated.
• Maintains super user status for Pyramis and Vision Premier.

Qualifications

Required Education:

Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Preferred: Vocational/technical school degree (job related)

Required Experience:

Minimum: No previous experience is required; Preferred: 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or cardiac related experience; Knowledge of arrhythmias.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course required within first year of employment.
