Job summary

TMH is seeking an EKG Technician to support the Cardiovascular Labs and perform electrocardiograms across hospital units. This role contributes to high-quality patient care in a 772-bed regional hospital.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Arrhythmia Course within the first year; preferred: 1 year cardiovascular lab experience; duties include scheduling, reports processing, equipment maintenance, and charting. Shift: 7 AM–7 PM, three 12-hour shifts plus one 4-hour shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Preferred: 1 year of cardiovascular lab or cardiac-related experience; knowledge of arrhythmias.
• Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Completes all types of electrocardiograms in all areas of the hospital.
• Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed.
• Maintains equipment and keep updated; maintains super user status for Pyramis and Vision Premier.
• Clerical tasks related to Cardiovascular Labs: scheduling, processing reports, recording pertinent information into logs.

How You'll Make An Impact

Completes all types of electrocardiograms in all areas of the hospital. Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed. Performs clerical tasks relating to tasks performed by the Cardiovascular Labs, (scheduling, processing reports, recording pertinent information into logs). Maintains equipment and keep updated. What You’ll Need To Apply

THIS POSITION IS FOR THE 7AM to 7PM SHIFT, THREE 12 HOUR SHIFTS & ONE 4 HOUR SHIFT

Required Education:

Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Preferred: Vocational/technical school degree (job related)

Required Experience:

Minimum: No previous experience is required; Preferred: 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or cardiac related experience; Knowledge of arrhythmias.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course required within first year of employment.
