Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking an EKG Technician to support cardiac stress testing and monitoring. The role requires reading EKGs during stress tests, differentiating rhythm types, and assisting with monitor hookup and blood pressure measurements.

You will support nuclear stress procedures and real-time heart rate monitoring during exercise. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm; compensation discussed based on experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read EKGs during stress tests and identify changes or arrhythmias.
• Ability to read monitors and differentiate rhythm types (normal sinus rhythm, arrhythmias, ectopic beats).
• Ability to hook up EKG leads for stress tests and monitors.
• Ability to take blood pressures during stress tests and read real-time heart rates on EKG during exercise.

Responsibilities

• EKG Technician will perform and assist with cardiac stress tests.
• Assist in nuclear stress test administration and exercise treadmill tolerance tests.
• Assist in stress echocardiograms and manage holter, event and MCT monitors.
• Monitor pacemaker and defibrillator home monitor alerts.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Candidates should be able to read monitors and differentiate normal sinus rhythm, arrhythmias, and ectopic beats.

Candidates should be able to hook up EKG leads for stress tests and monitors.

Candidates should be able to take blood pressures during stress tests and be able to read real time heart rates on EKG during exercise.
