Job summary

PIH Health is seeking an EKG Technician to independently perform non-invasive cardiology procedures for a cohort of patients in our Los Angeles area facilities. You will conduct electrodiagnostic examinations on inpatients and outpatients using standard ECG equipment, collaborating with care teams.

Requirements include completion of EKG Technician program or one year hospital experience, BLS, LA City Fire Card within 6 months; strong communication, computer and critical thinking skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of EKG Technician program or 1 year experience in an acute care hospital.
• Arrhythmia detection knowledge.
• LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.

Job description

Responsible for independently performing all non-invasive cardiology procedures for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. The EKG Technician conducts non-invasive electrodiagnostic examinations on inpatients and outpatients using electrocardiographic equipment.
