Job summary

UT Health East Texas is seeking a Day Shift, PRN EKG Technician in Tyler, TX. The role involves obtaining high quality EKGs and performing ancillary duties with compassion for patients and collaboration with the health care team.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or equivalent, with preferred hospital experience and EKG familiarity. Certification through CCI is desirable, supporting quality patient care.

  • CCI certification desirable.

The EKG Technician is responsible for obtaining high quality EKG’s and ancillary duties with compassion and respect towards their patients, co-workers, physicians and visitors.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is desirable
  • Previous EKG experience is desirable
  • Certification through CCI desirable
