Job summary

The Ardent Health Services team at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a day shift, part-time EKG Tech. You will perform noninvasive cardiology tests as ordered by physicians and support patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in alignment with Hillcrest values are essential, along with passing a basic arrhythmia test.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED
• At least 3 months of recent EKG experience
• Must be able to pass a basic arrhythmia test

• Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

• This position is accountable for the performance of special noninvasive cardiology testing procedures, as ordered by physicians, to allow detection of potential cardiac problems in a patient population that varies from neonatal to geriatric.
  There is high daily public contact with patients, physicians, family members and other departmental staff.
• The incumbent must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be self motivated;
• The ability to make decisions based upon the Hillcrest values in an independent working environment is essential to the successful performance of the job.
