Job summary

Cabell Huntington Hospital seeks an EKG Technician to work with our EKG Department. Under the general direction of the Director of Outpatient Cardiology, the EKG Tech I operates an electrocardiograph machine to record heart activity for use in diagnosing heart disorders.

The position requires a High School Diploma, EKG certification, and at least six months of related experience, plus a transcription rate of 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Under the general direction of the Director of Outpatient Cardiology the EKG Tech I coordinates with the EKG Department to ensure accurate tests.
