Job summary

Ohio School of Phlebotomy, Inc. is seeking an experienced EKG Technician Instructor to join our faculty onsite. You will prepare lectures, lead hands-on labs, assess student progress, and maintain records while following state policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in an EKG role, a high school diploma, and a willingness to teach. Prior teaching is not required; we value empathy, clear communication, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as an EKG Technician or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• Previous teaching experience is not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

What you will do as an EKG Technician Instructor on our Faculty

• Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook.
• Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
• Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
• Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.
• Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.
• Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located with regard to policy.
• Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.

You possess these basic requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as an EKG Technician or similar/more advanced practice (EMT, Physician's Assistant, LPN, etc)
