Job summary

Ohio School of Phlebotomy seeks an experienced EKG Technician Instructor to share knowledge with students and lead engaging lectures and hands-on labs. The role is onsite at our Atlanta-area campus, with a focus on practical skill development and safety compliance.

You will adapt the syllabus as needed, assess student progress, and maintain accurate records while delivering instruction in accordance with state requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience as an EKG Technician or similar (EMT, PA, LPN).
• Ability to teach and present material clearly to students.
• Adapt teaching style to accommodate varied learning needs.
• Maintain accurate student records and progress reports.
• Authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lecture on specified content using the school’s textbook.
• Administer assessments according to the syllabus.
• Lead hands-on skills labs with demonstrations and student feedback.
• Maintain attendance and progress records; document grades.
• Manage class time to cover material while meeting state time requirements.
• Ensure compliance with school and state regulations in curriculum delivery.
