Job summary

Pape-Dawson is seeking a full-time Engineer-in-Training IV (EIT IV) for Land Development in Louisville, KY. You will work closely with licensed civil engineers to assist clients in developing various projects in the public and private sectors.

Your role includes producing project plans, specifications, and cost estimates, providing design alternatives, and preparing technical reports. This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and 3-4 years of experience in civil design.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years’ experience in civil design – site, commercial and/or residential design.
• EIT or ability to achieve by reciprocity.
• Experience with local jurisdiction entitlement and zoning along with permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Project Manager in the production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Develop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters.
• Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives.
