We are seeking an Environmental Scientist (EIR Environmental Scientist I) to join our Raleigh, NC team! Come join us!

Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Performance of site investigations to support environmental projects, including the collection of samples and environmental data
• Conduct and document field activities such as soil, soil vapor and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, and tank excavations and/or removals
• Management and analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps
• Assisting clients with a variety of environmental, health, and safety needs, including environmental regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, industrial hygiene, and health and safety matters
• Preparing technical reports including but not limited to proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans
• Organizing and prioritize a diverse workload; maintain accurate records
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• 0-2 years of related environmental consulting experience, NC-specific experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments, prioritizing and delegating activities, and delivering on tight deadlines
• Capable of working independently, under direct supervision of others, and in a team-orientated environment
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
• Commitment to safety
  
  

Technical Requirements

• Microsoft PC applications; WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint
• Strong technical, analytical, and research skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Preferred 40-Hour Hazwoper
  
  

Other Miscellaneous Qualities

• Ability for overnight travel (typically in-state) as needed (average 20-30%)
• Ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks
