Eikon Research is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Facilities/Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations and facility logistics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys both hands-on and administrative responsibilities, and is passionate about maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. This position will be 50% in office and 50% in warehouse.
The selected Warehouse Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Shipping & Receiving: Generate shipping labels and documentation, receive and log incoming packages, and notify engineering teams of deliveries
- Procurement Support: Process purchase requests from designers and engineers, submit and track expense reports, monitor delivery schedules, and follow up as needed
- Inventory Management: Conduct weekly inventory checks, monitor stock levels and reorder supplies proactively, and maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and tracking tools
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse, ensure all parts and components are clearly labeled and stored by PO or contract, and track and update inventory systems regularly
- Operational Support: Identify and return misplaced items to proper locations, clean and maintain ESD-safe areas after testing and assembly, and assist with equipment assembly and technician-level tasks as needed
Requirements
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the following:
- Warehouse or facilities management
- Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and inventory tracking tools
- Managing FedEx, UPS, and online purchasing accounts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to plan, execute, and maintain complex organizational systems (e.g., trays of components, parts, equipment)
- Capable of lifting boxes up to ~30 lbs
- Ability to operate a walkie-stacker and/or forklift
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams
- Comfortable with both administrative and physical tasks
Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Desire/ability to learn basic CAD/3D printing for making organizers, tools and utility objects
- Mechanical/fabricator skills - ability to assemble random designs, using tools such as drills, drill press, vise, air compressor, etc.
- Manual labor - moving pallets and pelican cases, rearranging workbenches/cabinets as needed
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Experience in a technical or engineering-focused warehouse environment
- Familiarity with ESD-safe practices and environments
