Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a multiskilled Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Technician for the Williston area. The role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and operating natural gas compression and related facilities with minimal supervision.

You will read diagrams and schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in emergency repairs as needed. Overtime, nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of the second year of a trades program or two years of vocational/technical training.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, inspect, and maintain natural gas compression equipment and related systems.
• Support installation, testing, repair, operation, and maintenance of compressor station facilities and control systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and system improvements to enhance reliability.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, electrical schematics, and other technical docs.
• Participate in emergency repairs, outages, and on-call rotations as required.
