Beagle Middle School is seeking a paraeducator to support students with behavioral needs by pushing into classrooms on a schedule throughout the day. The role involves monitoring behavior, collecting data, and assisting with intervention plans to help students succeed.
The position requires providing in-the-moment support for students with emotional or behavioral difficulties and collaborating with the EI teacher to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans.
Location: Beagle Middle School
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:20am-2:55pm.
Description: This position requires paraeducators to push into classrooms, hour-by-hour, to support students with behavioral needs.
This position requires paraeducators to progress monitor behavior, support with intervention plans, provide in-the-moment support to students with an emotional impairment or behavioral issues, and also support other students and general education teachers with the comprehension of the aforementioned behavior plan.
Data collection on a daily and hourly basis is required, and the para educator reports back to the EI teacher at all times.
Based on other needs of the students on the EI teacher’s caseload, specific assignments are subject to change on a daily basis to meet the needs of students.
