Job summary

LPU Batangas is seeking an EHS intern to assist with record keeping, training delivery, and safety inspections at our ICL location. You will participate in emergency drills and help maintain the JHA program, gaining exposure to senior leadership.

The role requires pursuing a STEM degree and strong analytical and communication skills, with willingness to work nights, weekends, or overtime as needed. Relocation housing assistance is provided for those living far from the ICL location.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Safety Studies, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Completed at least sophomore year of university study.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with EHS record keeping.
• Develop and deliver EHS training.
• Participate in emergency drills.
• Conduct routine safety and environmental inspections.
• Label waste containers for disposal.
• Maintain and update the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) program.

Your Role

About You

The company is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. degree in Safety Studies, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or a related field
• Completed at least sophomore year of university study
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Ability to set priorities and demonstrate strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated and eager to learn
• Strong computer skills
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and/or overtime as required to complete specific projects

Compensation & Benefits
