EHSQ Specialist

Position Overview

The EHSQ Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and quality regulations within the organization. This role focuses on implementing safety measures, conducting audits, and promoting a culture of safety and quality among employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs for employees.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of environmental management systems.
  • Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote EHSQ initiatives.
  • Coordinating incident analysis, action plan follow-ups to prevent reoccurrence, and maintaining document control as per ISO/Corporate requirements using SharePoint. Stay updated with corporate EHSQ standards, implementing improvements, and training personnel on modifications.
  • Stay updated on regulations and best practices in EHSQ.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in EHSQ roles, particularly in OSHA and EPA compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of safety audit processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EPA regulations and ISO standards is preferred.
