Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring an EHS Technician in Franklin, KY. The role is temporary to hire with a starting pay of $19.25 per hour plus a $0.75 shift differential and weekly pay. The position focuses on supporting plastic recycling operations and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and preferably EHS experience. Forklift certification is required through company training, and there is an emphasis on

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EHS (Safety) experience highly preferred.
• Experience in plastic recycling operations is essential.
• Prior material handling or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must obtain forklift operator’s license through company training.
• Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to identify issues quickly and report to supervisor.
• Able to adapt to changing operational priorities.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist, walk.

Mansioni

• Supports manufacturing operations by collecting, sorting, staging, and transporting plastic materials generated on the production floor.
• Ensures timely removal of scrap materials, maintains accurate material flow, and upholds company standards for safety, housekeeping, and efficiency.
• Transport materials to designated accumulation or processing areas using approved equipment.
• Maintain FIFO practices and adhere to material flow standards consistent with TPS and plant procedures.
• Support recycling and waste-handling requirements by following established documentation processes.
• Perform routine removal of trash, scrap, and packaging materials from assigned manufacturing zones.
• Conduct basic visual checks to ensure materials are properly classified and contamination is minimized.
• Complete required logs, counts, or system entries to maintain material accuracy.
• Participate in company 5S and housekeeping programs.
• Communicate irregularities, shortages, or process issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place.
• Complete any other related tasks as needed.
