Job summary

CS Power Systems in Jeffersonville, Indiana, seeks an EHS System & Audit Program Engineer to develop and manage safety programs, document control, and compliance across a world-class manufacturing site.

The role drives ISO-aligned frameworks, audits, and corrective actions, partnering with Operations and Maintenance to improve risk management and performance. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 5–7 years of EHS experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in EHS systems, including significant experience conducting or managing EHS audits.
• Strong understanding of EHS management systems and compliance assurance.
• Strong technical writing and document standardization skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a sound Safety Management System and EHS programs.
• Monitor and improve site-wide EHS document control system, including policies, programs, procedures, SOPs, manuals, and records.
• Establish and maintain centralized document repositories (e.g. SharePoint or DMS platforms).
• Translate technical inputs into usable field procedures.
• Support implementation of structured PSM, ISO-aligned frameworks, internal standards.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of programs and systems.
• Drive continuous improvement of document workflows and system efficiency.
• Develop and maintain EHS data tracking systems and dashboards.
• Analyze trends to support risk identification and performance improvement initiatives.
