Job summary

Nucor Tubular - Louisville is seeking an EHS Supervisor to lead the environmental, health, and safety teams in our Louisville, Kentucky plant. You will drive the EHS strategy, supervise engineers and technicians, and partner with operations to improve safety and environmental performance.

Reporting to the Environmental Manager, you will manage incident investigations, regulatory communications, and capital projects while supporting outages and plant upgrades.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Engineering, Environmental or related science, or 8 years of equivalent experience.
• 3 years’ experience proven leadership skills and abilities.
• 5 years’ experience in environmental compliance, air pollution control and/or wastewater treatment operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS engineers and technicians.
• Assist the Environmental Manager with day-to-day management of the environmental and safety departments.
• Promote the facility’s EHS strategy and safety/environmental excellence across the plant.
• Review, manage, and report incidents to ensure effective investigations and corrective actions.
• Support production teams during outages and capital project upgrades.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies and community leaders on environmental reporting and inspections.
