Job summary

Stryten Energy in Kansas City, MO seeks a Health and Safety Supervisor to lead environmental, health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws while preventing hazards and injuries.

You will partner with manufacturing supervisors to review and improve EHS practices, conduct risk assessments, coordinate PPE communication, and support audits, training, and investigations as part of the EHS team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s preferred in environmental or safety science.
• 1+ year EHS consulting or facility EHS management in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; solid knowledge of ISO14001 and EHS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Implement EHS programs to meet regulatory compliance and company goals.
• Maintain and update environmental and safety procedures and SOPs.
• Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors to improve EHS practices and adoption.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, regulations and reporting in manufacturing.
• Perform risk assessments and develop risk prevention plans.
• Review noise and hazardous air contaminant analyses and determine PPE requirements.
