Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for 1st shift in a Georgia facility. The role focuses on ensuring EHS regulatory compliance, leading audits, and developing safety programs.

Flexible hours and weekend overtime may be required. The successful candidate will have 2+ years in EHS, experience with MS Office and scanners, and a bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and scanner equipment.
Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
CPR/AED/BBP certification preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
Strong time and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Provide elevated support to the EHS team and ensure compliance with EHS regulations.
Maintain and communicate EHS processes and procedures.
Review and ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
Conduct on-site audits of facilities related to EHS programs.
Develop and implement EHS programs and action plans.
Lead safety meetings, training, and continuing education.
