Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor to oversee the EHS team and ensure compliance with all regulations across our facilities. You will drive safety initiatives and partner with operations to maintain high standards of workplace safety.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, proficiency with MS Office and scanner equipment, and flexibility for overtime. A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety is preferred; CPR/AED/BBP certification

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime, weekends.
• CPR/AED/BBP certification or background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated support to the EHS team ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and communicate EHS processes and procedures.
• Review and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Conduct on-site audits of facilities for EHS programs.
• Develop and communicate EHS initiatives and action plans.
• Lead safety meetings, training and continuing education.
