Job summary

Regal Rexnord invites motivated students to join as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern at our Milwaukee HQ. This hybrid internship blends on-site work with remote flexibility, offering hands-on experience with our EHS management system and velocity of safety initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with EHS professionals to support policy updates and training materials. The program spans ~11 weeks (June 2, 2027 – August 13, 2027), with 3+ on‑site days weekly and up to 2 remote days,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, or related field, with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2030.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Support corporate EHS initiatives by collecting, analyzing, auditing, and reporting data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities across Regal Rexnord.
• Assist with development, revision, and maintenance of EHS training materials.
• Provide SharePoint administration support, including document management, content updates, and workflow maintenance.
• Collaborate with EHS professionals to review, update, and maintain corporate policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the EHS information management system, VelocityEHS, by assisting with system configuration, data validation, user adoption, and platform maintenance.
• Develop and maintain VelocityEHS dashboards, reports, and analytics while supporting end‑user training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities.

Work Model: Work Model: You’ll work in a hybrid model, onsite at your designated Regal Rexnord location at least 3 days per week (Monday-Thursday), with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days, including Friday.

We are excited to offer a Corporate Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern position that provides hands‑on experience across multiple areas of EHS. This internship is designed for a motivated student interested in developing foundational EHS skills while supporting meaningful business initiatives designed to improve safety and minimize environmental impact from our operations.

As an EHS Intern, you will gain exposure to Regal Rexnord’s EHS Management System, including reporting applications, policies, metrics, and other key EHS functions. You will partner closely with EHS professionals and business leaders while building skills that prepare you for a future career in EHS.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability, or a related field, with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 and Spring 2030.
• Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation Details

• $18 - $24 per hour
• The hourly rate provided is intended to display the value of the company's base rate compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Hourly rate is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
