Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist – Supply Chain to support safety programs in distribution centers. You will report to the Safety Manager and collaborate with HR, Risk, and Legal to implement IIPP/Safety programs and drive safe work practices.

Responsibilities include chairing safety committees, conducting audits, risk assessments, and safety training. Minimum 2+ years in safety with OSHA credentials and a bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience with OSHA certification or related degree.
• Ability to analyze accident data and perform job hazard analyses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety representative for supply chain; support Safety Manager with programs.
• Chair Distribution Center Safety Committees and develop committee members.
• Develop, implement, monitor safety policies and OSHA records; train staff.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and coach associates on safety practices.
• Coordinate worker training on safety laws, hazardous conditions, and equipment.
• Respond to facility emergencies and participate in special projects.
