Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist – Supply Chain to provide technical support and execution of EHS programs across distribution centers.

The role reports to the Safety Manager and focuses on developing and implementing safety policies, conducting audits, training staff, and coordinating with HR, Risk Management and Legal to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience with OSHA 30-hour or OSHA 511 certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other regulatory standards.
• Ability to analyze accident data and perform Job Hazard Analyses.
• Strong time management and communication skills.
• Experience with safety audits, trainings and incident reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Serve as safety representative for the supply chain and assist in implementing safety programs.
• Chair the Distribution Center Safety Committees and develop members.
• Conduct safety training and audits across facilities.
• Assist with OSHA records, risk assessments and incident trend analysis.
• Respond to facility emergencies and support special projects.
