Job summary

Acnovate Corporation is seeking an experienced EHS leader to ensure compliance with federal, state and local EHS regulations at our Santa Clara site. You will manage air, water, storm water, and hazardous waste programs while leading safety and industrial hygiene initiatives.

Responsibilities include audits, incident investigations, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining training and SOP documentation. A strong emphasis on regulatory reporting and continuous improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a corporate, tech, R&D, or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of Cal/OSHA, EPA, Cal EPA, and Bay Area regulations.
• Experience with EHS management systems and compliance tracking tools.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills.
• Certifications CSP, CIH, REHS or CHMM are a plus.

Job description

• Manage environmental programs: air quality, water discharge/storm water, and hazardous and universal waste management, including manifests and annual environmental reporting
• Run occupational safety and industrial hygiene programs: safety inspections, incident investigation, exposure/IH monitoring, hazardous materials and hazardous waste program management
• Partner cross-functionally on EHS matters affecting site operations
• Support internal audits and respond to regulatory agency inspections
• Maintain EHS management system documentation, SOPs, and training records
• Respond to EHS incidents as needed during standard working hours

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, or equivalent experience
