Job summary

Noveon Magnetics is seeking a hands-on Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist to lead OSHA compliance, hazard recognition, risk reduction, and a proactive safety culture on the manufacturing floor.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of EHS experience in a heavy manufacturing setting, strong incident investigation skills, and the ability to partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related technical discipline with 5+ years of progressive EHS experience.
• Associate degree with relevant manufacturing safety experience acceptable.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or high-hazard industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture through coaching and engagement.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, JHAs, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs and training.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and company policies.
• Support industrial hygiene, PPE, respiratory protection, and ergonomics programs.
• Evaluate machine guarding, LOTO, electrical safety, and fall protection.
• Maintain OSHA injury/illness records (300, 300A, 301).
• Participate in emergency preparedness, contractor safety, and MOC activities.
• Support hazardous waste management, chemical safety, SDS management.
