CAE USA Tampa hosts an onsite Environmental Health & Safety professional who will work with the EHS team to ensure health and safety compliance, promote a safe working environment, and implement safety programs and policies at CAE USA Tampa.

The role involves developing policies, conducting risk assessments, delivering training, and investigating incidents to drive continuous safety improvements in a manufacturing and office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in heavy manufacturing or aviation.
• U.S. citizens only due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsabilités

• Create and update EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Perform regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure safety and environmental standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance and report non-compliance issues.
• Collaborate with site management to foster a safe working environment and share lessons learned.
