Job summary

CAE USA Tampa seeks an onsite Environment Health & Safety professional to partner with the CAE USA EHS team, ensuring health and safety compliance at the site. You will promote a safe work environment and implement safety programs and policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of health and safety experience, with US citizenship due to DoD requirements. You will lead inspections, training, investigations, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety role.
U.S. citizens required due to DoD contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Create and update EHS policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
Perform regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure standards.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and contractors.
Investigate incidents and near-misses to determine root causes and corrective actions.
Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
