Job summary

Terumo Neuro is seeking an Environmental, Health, & Safety Specialist to assist day-to-day EHS programs, ensuring compliance across manufacturing and R&D labs. You will perform safety inspections, help manage incidents, support machine guarding checks, and maintain chemical inventories while contributing to environmental compliance activities like waste handling and air emissions reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections and assist with incident management.
• Support EHS program implementation and training records.
• Assist with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and risk assessments for manufacturing, R&D, and laboratory activities.
• Develop and conduct EHS training sessions for new hires and current associates on various topics.
• Assist in the investigation of EHS incidents and track corrective actions to closure.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations and adhere to Quality Management System processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
