Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist (WHSS) to lead safety programs and champion a proactive safety culture at a Duluth, GA site. You will conduct audits, investigate incidents, and implement risk assessments, leveraging data and training to prevent injuries and protect staff.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, strong communication, and the ability to collaborate with frontline teams to sustain a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background or 6 months in a safety-related role within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments with data-driven strategies and proactive solutions.
• Engage with associates and leadership to advocate for safety, coach behaviors, and drive safety best practices across the site.
