Hussey Copper, a Pantheon Electric company, is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support environmental compliance, workplace safety, and continuous improvement initiatives at our Eminence, Kentucky manufacturing facility.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree and has hands-on EHS experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of OSHA 1910, incident investigations, and safety training to help maintain a safe, compliant, and productive site.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of professional EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience conducting safety audits, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Experience developing or supporting safety programs in a production facility.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve environmental, health, and safety programs within a manufacturing environment.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, compliance audits, risk assessments, and job safety analyses to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, including root cause analysis and corrective action recommendations.
• Support compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
• Administer safety programs related to LOTO, machine guarding, hazard communication, PPE, and emergency response.
• Develop and deliver EHS training to employees, supervisors, and plant leadership.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident investigations, training activities, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify workplace hazards and collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to implement corrective actions.
• Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management, environmental inspections, permits, and reporting.
• Analyze safety performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend opportunities to reduce injuries and risks.
• Partner with plant leadership to promote employee engagement and a proactive safety culture.
