Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an EHS Specialist II to implement safety and environmental programs across our facilities. You will lead LOTO, chemical management, fall prevention, confined spaces, electrical safety, machine guarding, and related EHS activities, while ensuring OSHA/EPA compliance.

You will develop and administer programs, manage risk assessments, train personnel, and document results to support regulatory reporting and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Services or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant EHS experience required.
• Proficiency with Benchmark or similar safety management software.
• Ability to identify safety risks and implement countermeasures.
• Ability to read and interpret regulations (EPA/OSHA).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer EHS programs, procedures, and work instructions.
• Report hazards and work toward solutions.
• Maintain the compliance calendar for regulatory requirements.
• Train facility personnel and contractors on EHS practices.
• Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Engage with all departments to ensure EHS compliance.
• Assist corporate initiatives; support government reporting (SDS, Form R, Tier II, etc.).
