Job summary

Qualifications

• Working towards professional safety certification (e.g., CIH, CSP, ASP) preferred
• One year of health and safety experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Hazardous waste management experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Supports ISO 14001 Environmental Management System audits.
• Maintains Safety Data Sheet database and chemical inventory.
• Performs weekly hazardous waste inspections and monitors waste management.
• Supports workers’ compensation program and claims processing.
• Helps develop safety training and ergonomics programs.
• Engages with site employees and management to improve safety performance.
