Amazon is actively seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety culture initiatives at the Hillsboro site. You will drive data-driven safety programs, perform audits, investigations, and implement risk controls to protect associates while maintaining productivity.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year in an EHS-related field or a bachelor's in an EHS-related background or 6 months at Amazon in safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Strong communication, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
• Experience leading and managing a team and analyzing accident data for safety concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Implement preventive safety measures to protect associates and maintain productivity.
