Job summary

You will maintain records, train staff, and perform inspections to protect workers and the environment. Responsibilities include conducting audits, managing the SDS library, handling hazardous materials, and coordinating with management to meet Clean Air Act, RCRA, and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in EH&S.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in environmental or safety sciences.
• Proficient with regulatory requirements and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Work cohesively with EHS team and management to fulfill tasks and goals.
• Maintain the SDS library by adding new chemicals and updating sheets.
• Conduct audits to identify hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Train employees in EHS programs and maintain training records.
• Investigate air quality complaints and assess health effects.
• Schedule chromium and respiratory physicals and manage sign-offs.
• Label hazards, perform fit-testing, and inspect emergency equipment.
• Enforce regulations and assist in regulatory reporting (RCRA, DOT, CAA).
• Maintain compliance records and support internal audits.
