Join us to apply for the EHS Specialist (3rd Shift) role at Hyundai MOBIS Alabama, LLC - Georgia Plant.

Hyundai MOBIS is one of the world's largest auto parts specialists, serving as the parts and service arm for Kia Motors Georgia. Our plant utilizes advanced vehicle modularization technology to manufacture chassis, cockpit, and front-end modules for the KIA Georgia factory. Additionally, our team assembles bumpers in a just-in-sequence environment.

In this role, you will join the Environmental Health and Safety team, reporting to the EHS Manager. You will support daily operational safety and environmental activities, adhere to policies, and promote a culture of safety and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform PPE analysis, make recommendations, and manage safety supplies.
  • Track injuries and recommend safety improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of EHS regulations and policies.
  • Conduct hazard analyses, audits, and ergonomic assessments.
  • Assist injury reduction initiatives.
  • Report safety and environmental performance metrics.
  • Lead safety training sessions and orientations.
  • Participate in special projects and task forces.
  • Create safety training materials and suggest policy improvements.
  • Track safety data for trend analysis and reporting.
  • Complete audits and inspections, maintaining documentation.
  • Lead and train Safety Committee members.
  • Perform other assigned tasks. Shift to be assigned post-training.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in EHS preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience required.
  • High School Diploma/GED required; AA/AS or Bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Safety or related field.
  • Advanced communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • ISO and OSHA certifications; First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Ability to lead diverse personnel, handle high-stress situations calmly.
  • Basic knowledge of workers' compensation.
Working Conditions

Approximately 30% office and 70% production floor; must be able to traverse the floor and respond to emergencies. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a US Passport required.
