Responsible for administering the EHS Program. Ensuring compliance with company policies and protocols as well as EHS regulations.
- Develop and ensure fulfillment of all necessary local legal and other EHS requirements.
- Apply for local approvals and coordination of authority audits on local level including necessary communication.
- Coordinate of the ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 Management System Certification Audits within the location.
- Implement and monitor (incl. random spot checks) all EHS processes and requirements in the location.
- Advise and support all local departments regarding EHS.
- Perform HS Risk Assessment & Environmental Aspects Assessment.
- Organize and coordinate EHS facility measurements.
- Coordinate all activates related to Waste management on site.
- Coordinate annual medical checks on site.
- Control of Fire Safety management, documentation, approvals, control and of the firefighting equipment.
- Implementation of the EHS mission, management, and coordination of the new development projects.
- Monitoring of the Technical of High-risk equipment within the site level.
- Perform EHS reporting, as requested.
- Provide support to development and implementation of EHS programmers.
- Represent the company on health & safety, environmental matters on national, international and at group level.
- Overview, control, support and audit fire Safety management, documentation, approvals, control, and the firefighting equipment with coordination with other departments.
- Collect and perform analysis and reports on investigations, occurrences, near misses, accidents, and incidents. Audit the OSHA 300,300A and 301.
- Support other group companies.
- Stand by duties as and when required.
- Other Responsibilities
- Maintains working area clean and organized.
- Comply and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, local and federal regulations.
- Perform other tasks and projects, as requested.
- Ensure adherence to compliance culture requirements.
Education, Skills, and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental technology, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent in job related experiences.
- Hazwoper certification (40 hours)
- General industry 30 hours certification (minimum or equivalent)
- RCRA Certification (Introductory & Annual Recurrent)
- CPR / First Aid /CPR & AED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health & safety and environment.
- Detailed knowledge of the relevant EHS legislation and regulations.
- Team spirit.
- Good analytical skills.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Flexibility according to workload during the project phases
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to generate new ideas and identify potential for improvement within his working area

- Office environment. This job operates in a professional office environment.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax, scanner and filing cabinets.
- Could often work more than 40 hours per week, including on evenings and weekends. Also usually travel often for work.
- The workspace may range from a desk in an open layout cubicle, a private office or working remotely from home.
