申請者は、安全科学・環境科学・工学の学士、製造・化学環境での5–10年のEH&S経験、法規制の知識、調査・監査・コンプライアンスの推進経験、優れたコミュニケーション能力を要します。勤務地は現場勤務で、時折夜勤対応・地元出張あり。

Responsibilities

• EH&Sプログラムを現場全体で推進する。
• 従業員・リーダー・技術チームと協力し、安全文化を育成する。
• 改善機会を識別し、リスク低減と法令遵守を推進する。
• インシデント調査を主導し、原因究明と是正措置を実施する。
• 製造現場でEH&S事項の指導とサポートを提供する。
• 大気・排水・廃棄物関連の環境コンプライアンスを管理する。
• 許認可申請・更新・規制報告をサポートする。
• 監査・点検・規制訪問を調整し、是正アクションを完了させる。
• 安全・環境トレーニングを実施する。
• 新規プロジェクト・設備変更がEH&S要件を満たすよう協力する。
• ISO14001・SPCC・MOC・PSSR等を支援する。
• EH&Sパフォーマンスデータを分析し、実務的改善につなげる。
• MidAtlantic Hub全体のEH&S施策に貢献する。

At Qnity Electronics, safety, health, and environmental stewardship are more than compliance requirements. They are fundamental to how we operate and innovate. We are looking for an experienced and passionate EH&S Specialist to join our MidAtlantic EH&S Hub and support our Kalrez operations in Newark, Delaware.

In this role, you will help create a safer workplace for over 360 employees across two manufacturing sites while driving environmental excellence and continuous improvement. You will be a visible leader, trusted advisor, and technical expert who partners with Operations, Engineering, and site leadership to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You'll Do

As our EH&S Specialist, you will:

• Lead and champion environmental, health, and safety programs across the site.
• Build strong partnerships with employees, leaders, and technical teams to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives that reduce risk and enhance compliance.
• Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Be a visible presence on the manufacturing floor, providing guidance and support on EH&S matters.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs related to air emissions, water systems, and waste management.
• Support permit applications, renewals, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and regulatory visits while ensuring actions are completed successfully.
• Deliver engaging safety and environmental training programs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure new projects and facility changes meet EH&S requirements.
• Support ISO 14001, SPCC, Management of Change (MOC), and Pre-Start-Up Safety Review (PSSR) activities.
• Analyze EH&S performance data and translate insights into meaningful improvements.
• Contribute to broader EH&S initiatives across the MidAtlantic Hub.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Sciences, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5-10 years of EH&S experience in manufacturing, chemical, industrial, or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of environmental and occupational safety regulations.
• Experience leading investigations, audits, compliance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to influence, coach, and build trust across diverse teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexibility to occasionally support off-shift activities and travel locally up to 10%.
