Qualifications

• 化学工学または機械工学の学士号が必須。

Responsibilities

• 担当製造エリアの技術リーダーシップとプロセス専門知識を提供する。
• 根本原因調査を主導し、複雑なプロセス・品質・安全・運用課題を解決する。
• 安全性・歩留まり・能力・品質を高める継続的改善を優先・実行する。
• 設計から開始・性能検証までの設備投資案件とR&Dスケールアップを支援する。
• プロセス文書・PFMEA・作業手順・技術基準を作成・維持する。
• 運用・保全・信頼性・品質・EHS・自動化チームと協力して課題を解決する。
• プロセス性能を監視し、リスク・能力ギャップを特定して改善を提案する。

Position Summary

Qnity is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical leadership and manufacturing support for a designated production area. This role is responsible for improving process safety, reliability, quality, productivity, and operational performance while driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new technology implementation.

The Senior Process Engineer partners closely with Operations, Reliability, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Automation, and R&D teams to solve complex technical challenges, support scale-up activities, and implement sustainable process improvements. This individual will serve as a key technical resource, helping transform daily operational issues into long-term solutions that enhance manufacturing performance.

This position is 100% onsite reporting into our Newark, DE facility. Candidates who currently live within a daily commutable distance to this location will be given priority. Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future.

What You'll Do

• Provide technical leadership and process expertise for an assigned manufacturing area.
• Lead root cause investigations and resolve complex process, quality, safety, and operational issues.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, yield, capacity, productivity, and product quality.
• Support capital projects and R&D scale-up efforts from design and implementation through startup and performance validation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, PFMEAs, operating procedures, and technical standards.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Quality, EHS, and Automation teams to troubleshoot issues and achieve business objectives.
• Monitor process performance, identify risks and capability gaps, and recommend improvements to equipment, controls, and manufacturing systems.
• Mentor and support Process Engineers while promoting knowledge sharing, standard work, and technical excellence across the organization.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, or process engineering within an industrial environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Proven ability to execute cross-functional projects and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions while balancing safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of manufacturing, production, or process engineering experience.
• Experience supporting capital projects, commissioning, equipment startup, scale-up activities, or performance validation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and process capability methodologies.
• Experience with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and risk management practices.
• Proven track record of leading continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Prior experience coaching, mentoring, or developing engineers and technical personnel.
