Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Milwaukee seeks an EHS Specialist to advance safety and environmental programs, maintaining EHS information systems and supporting global compliance tools across manufacturing sites.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement processes, lead audits, develop training, and ensure regulatory reporting aligns with OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, and NFPA standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in an EHS corporate or manufacturing site role.
  • Must be a persistent self-starter who can lead others with minimum oversight.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects and work with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and consensus standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA).

Job description

Based in Milwaukee and reporting to the VP EHS, the EHS Specialist will play a key role across the organization in achieving the company's EHS goals, with the focus on improving EHS management systems, reporting and regulatory compliance.

In this role, they will work with a diverse team across our global manufacturing footprint in the execution of our EHS strategy. They will be responsible for maintaining EHS information management systems, global applications and compliance tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement processes and technologies that support the organization's strategy, goals, and targets

Professional Experiences/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in EHS or related fields
  • 2+ years of progressive experience in an EHS corporate or manufacturing site role
  • Must be a persistent self-starter who can work effectively and lead others with minimum oversight
  • Incumbent must be able to work effectively with all levels the organization and with individuals outside of the company.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers with knowledge of MS office products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects
  • Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and consensus standards (OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA),
