Qualifications

• Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Facility Engineering/Maintenance EHS experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience in environmental health and safety management, ideally in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) laws and regulations.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and enforce safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for employee training and coaching.
• Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis techniques.
• Proficient with EHS-related software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety audits to ensure compliance and identify hazards.
• Provide training on safety practices and regulatory compliance.
• Manage hazardous materials, waste programs, storage, disposal, and documentation.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with management to promote a culture of safety.
• Stay current with EHS regulations and advise on required actions.
• Prepare and submit safety reports to authorities.
• Maintain logs and documentation for permits and regulatory needs.
