Responsibilities

• Ensures EHS/OSHA compliance for Hauppauge, Valhalla, and Brownsville sites.
• Develops and implements health and safety policies to minimize injuries.
• Inspects workplaces for hazards and implements corrective actions.
• Educates employees on safe working conditions and risk awareness.
• Delivers training on compliance, hazardous materials, emergency response, and industrial hygiene.
• Oversees hazardous waste disposal and monitors handling.
• Investigates incidents and prepares reports per procedures.
• Supports emergency procedures and readiness.
• Records EHS metrics monthly.
• Manages Spellman’s environmental reporting system.
