Job summary

Grace, a leading global supplier of catalysts and engineered materials, seeks an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager for its Curtis Bay, MD facility. You will lead site compliance with OSHA and EPA programs, champion safety culture, and drive continuous EHS improvements.

The role requires a STEM degree and 9+ years in chemical/industrial settings, supervisory experience, and strong regulatory knowledge. On-site with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities at Grace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• 9+ years of chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory/leadership experience.
• Experience with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.119 and EPA 40 CFR Part 68, hazardous waste, and wastewater regulations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute site-wide EHS strategies aligned with Grace goals.
• Partner with local union leadership to champion worker safety initiatives.
• Oversee PSM and RMP compliance, PHAs and MOC reviews.
• Direct regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations (MDE, Title V, NPDES, RCRA).
• Lead incident investigations using RCA to drive CAPA actions.
• Maintain and improve site EHS management systems (RC 14001).
• Direct emergency response strategy and coordinate with local responders.
• Oversee industrial hygiene monitoring and PPE program.
