Job summary

Agile Space Industries seeks an experienced EHS leader to build and own environmental, health, safety, and physical security programs across engineering, manufacturing, and test operations at our Durango site.

You will manage hazardous materials, regulatory compliance, and security alignment, reporting to the COO, with stock options and growth opportunity as the company expands to new facilities and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in EHS or related field required.
• 7+ years EHS experience in regulated industry (aerospace/defense, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with hazardous materials handling and regulated processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, DOT and permitting requirements.
• Familiarity with CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain company-wide EHS management systems.
• Lead risk management for hazardous materials, manufacturing, and test activities.
• Own environmental compliance including permitting and regulator relationships.
• Align physical security with CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800-171.
• Prepare emergency response, crisis management and business continuity plans.
• Foster a safety-first culture and scalable systems in a high-growth environment.
