Job summary

Justrite Safety Group seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Regional Specialist to oversee the EHS program for North Carolina, South Carolina, and US remote install crews based out of Florida. The successful candidate may be based in Anderson, SC or Wilkesboro, NC.

This role reports to the Regional EHS Manager. You will develop and administer health, safety, ergonomics and industrial hygiene programs, maintain environmental permits, lead safety initiatives, deliver EHS training, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety/Environmental/Engineering or related area.
• ASP or CSP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Broad working knowledge of regional and local EHS compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Travel required, up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer occupational health, safety, ergonomics and industrial hygiene programs.
• Maintain site-specific environmental permits and reporting requirements.
• Identify hazards and facilitate preventive actions and additional safeguards.
• Coach employees toward safer behavior on the factory floor.
• Lead the Safety Committee and other initiatives.
