Job summary

Franklin Precision Industry, Inc. is hiring an EHS Technician for 2nd shift in Franklin, KY. The role involves sorting and staging plastic components, moving materials with approved equipment, and ensuring adherence to FIFO and TPS procedures.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly and perform repetitive handling tasks.
Able to identify issues quickly and report to Supervisor.
Able to adapt to changing operational priorities.

Responsibilities

Collect, sort, and stage plastic components and scrap materials from production lines.
Transport materials to designated areas using authorized equipment.
Maintain FIFO practices and TPS plant procedures.
Support recycling and waste-handling documentation requirements.
Perform routine removal of trash, scrap, and packaging materials from zones.
Conduct basic visual checks to ensure proper classification and minimize contamination.
Complete required logs or system entries to maintain material accuracy.
Participate in 5S and housekeeping programs.
Communicate irregularities or shortages to the supervisor.
Cross-train to support material handling across areas.
